The Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles is the most remarkable building with its stainless steel panels curving around the facade. Designed by famed architect Frank Gehry in 2003. This was a bucket list item to see and photograph the concert hall. I still marvel the way light catches the panels.

The Carnegie train station is part of the Victoria Government plan for getting Melbourne moving into the future, the government spent billions into a more effective rail and road system. Raising railway platforms and lines to alleviate road traffic build up at railway crossing. As the result, many stations originally designed in the last century, have been built for the future in mind. Modern, sleek and more functional ready for the many years ahead.

Fog changes the whole mood of a location. As the mist settles you start to see the structure in a whole new light. The train lines disappears into the distance and the light glows in the darkness of the very early morning.

With the development along the Yarra River in Melbourne, the central business district has shifted, where once ships would come to load and unload their goods, large company corporate offices, apartments and entertaining complexes have lined the banks creating a rich environment for workers, residents and visitors alike.

Picking the optimal time to photograph the sites and getting the balance of light is crucial in showing the building within its landscape.
